We offer the guarantee to ship your order between 1-3 business days.

We use Canada Post as our main shipping carrier, and Canada Post themselves relay your package to the post system in place in your country (for US and International orders).

Canadian shipping costs can be hard to deal with, but there are interesting ways to get around it!

Small packages that can fit through the regular letter standard (such as charms, pins, badges, etc.) are eligible for letter rates, making it pretty affordable to send you small orders.

Unfortunately, big parcels (such as apparel or oversized orders) have to be sent as packages, and the rates are what they are.


How do my orders get processed by the Post?

We deliver packages several times a week ourselves at a local Canada Post facility. We take care of packaging & labelling your orders correctly, and make sure to select the proper postal rate for your order to arrive safely (hopefully!) to your home.

Canada Post then either deliver themselves to your door, or transfer the order to your national carrier (ie. USPS, Royal Post, DAI, etc.) and they ensure the orders are processed through their facilities and delivered to your home or a pick up point.


Failed to deliver

Sometimes, your package receives the notice that it failed to deliver; we ask that you contact the carrier immediately upon receiving the notification to track your package and help you reach a resolution.

There are a lot of reasons why a failure to deliver can happen; here are the main ones:

  • You provided us with a faulty address;
  • We made a mistake when we entered your address for postage;
  • Your address is new and the postal service is still updating their systems with the new address;
  • the carrier has lost your package (a very less frequent occurring).

On responsibility

At BitterArt.co, we believe that a trusting relationship between us and a customer is primordial!

If we made a mistake, that’s on us ! We are responsible for the cost of sending a new order to you free of charge.

In return, we ask of you the same thing ; if you made a mistake during checkout (it happens!), we ask that you cover the costs of the second round of shipping.

If the carrier lost your package or messed with your order, you have to contact the carrier for a resolution. We ask of your collaboration to deal with claims of shipping insurance as the carrier will often ask to provide information that is not available to us.


Custom fees

We are not responsible to pay for any custom fees that your order may receive ; as a business, we are responsible to declare the cost of sale when we send packages out to you, and the regulations of your country concerning import fees rely on your shoulders. As the fees range from between 15% and 40% and are a bit random at times, please inform yourself correctly on the associated costs before purchasing! Refund requests of custom fees on order will be ignored, and the sale considered final.

If you deny the fees and your package is sent back to us, we will deduct the shipping fees from the refund of your order.
